Jerry Debell of Lilesville. Burialn the Lumber Bridge Cemetery. Survivors: two sons, Lloyd Bass of New Bern and Eulus Bass of Franklinville; five daughters, Mrs. Herman Hinshaw of Greensboro, Mrs. Linwood Newsome of Roanoke Rapids, Mrs. Buddy Jones of Lumber Bridge and Mrs. Jeanette Jackson and Mrs. Jessie Tew, both of Raeford; one brothers, Sam Smith of Durham; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Stewart of Roanoke Rapids and Mrs. Neater Lee of Petersburg, Va.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
