CLINTON ? Mrs. Annie Bass, 74, widow of J.M. Bass died at the home of her son on Clinton, Route 3, Wednesday. She was the daughter of the late George and Jenette Keen of Sampson County. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. from Ok Grove Free Will Baptist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. Minto Godwin, and the Rev. F.E. Landers officiated. The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service and burial will follow in the family cemetery near the home. Surviving are two sons, Etheridge Bass, and Milford Bass, Clinton, Route 3, Leo of Newton Grove, Route 2, and Norwood Bass of Fayetteville; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
