Junius Martin Bass, 63, died at his home in Sampson county Thursday afternoon following a heart attack. A well known farmer in that section, Bass was married to Martha Annie Bass. He was the son of the alte James C. and Marta Jones Bass. Funeral was held at the home this afternoon. Burial followed in the Bass family cemetery. Surviving are his wife; six sons, Clyde and Ethridge, Clinton, Leo, Newton Grove, Earl, Goldsboro, Norbert, of the marines, and Milford, of the army; for brothers, Oliver and Ammnie, Clinton, Walton and Braston, Newton Grove; three sistgers, Mrs. W.B. Dudley, Dunn, Mrs. W. A. Jackson, Dunn, and Mrs. John A. Autry, Clinton.
