Funeral - 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to service. Interment - Laurel Land Memorial Park. Dave was born in Fort Pierce, Florida, and graduated from Georgia Military Academy in 1955. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. He retired from Famous Foods Incorporated where he was a plant manager for 25 years. He was a member of Southside Masonic Lodge and received his 50 year pin in 2012 and was also a Shriner. He was a member of Garden Acres Baptist Church. He loved God, his family, and his friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, the Reverend Richard Bass. Survivors - He is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, Morris and wife, Beverly; daughter, Karen; four granddaughters; one grandson; six great-grandchildren; and brother, James Bass.
