Jasper Augustas Bass
Jasper Augustas Bass died in a Bartow hospital Thursday morning. Born in Taylor County July 1, 1882, he had lived in Polk County for 45 years, was a member of Fort Meade Lodge F&AM, and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Effie M. Bass; three sons,rank Bass, Fort Meade; Harry Bass, Live Oak, and Buss H. (Sonny) Bass, California; three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Clement, Mrs. Margaret McKenney, Lakeland, and Mrs. Diana Sapp, California; two stepsons, Bennie Kersey, Highland City, and George Kersey, Miami; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Esther Collier, Lakeland Highlands, and 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o?clock in the Methodist Church, Fort Meade. The Rev. Wayne Owens, pastor, officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade. Fort Meade Lodge F&AM will conduct service at the grave. A.M. Seigler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
