Clinton Ray Bass, 60 of Hasty
Clinton Ray Bass, 60 of Hasty, died Saturday, Sept. 4 (2010) at the Harrison Hospice House.
He was born January 25, 1950 at Bridgeport, Texas, the son of Gilliam and Audie (Casey) Bass.
He was a general laborer for Ark-Rod, Industries and a lifetime resident of Newton County. He was a member of the Western Grove Bible Church.
His father preceded him in death; also 2 sisters, Maxine and Mary Lou; two brothers, Monroe "Buddy" Bass, and J. W. Bass.
Survivors include his mother, Audie Bass of Hasty; his companion of 8 years, Sherry Kelly; two sons, Clinton Ray Bass, Jr. of Kansas and Kenny Scarberry of Yellville; four daughters, Barbara Faddis, and Greta Bass both of Harrison, Brandie Clement of Valley Ssprings, and Beth Hughes of Ridgedale, Mo.; four brothers, Dennis Bass of Alpena, Lacey Bass of Harrison, Glen Bass of Valley Springs and Jim Bass of Yardell; 19 grandchildren and a special caretaker, Shannah Woodruff along with many other family and friends.
A memorial service will be Thursday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m., at Western Grove Bible Church with Dennis Sisco officiating.
