Mrs. Tierney was born May 4, 1902, to Ronsom and Nancy Francisco in Spalding. On Aug. 6, 1931, she married John Tierney at Yankton, S.D. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sandy Rieck of Spalding and Mrs. Ruby Peterson of Omaha; four sons, Gerald Bassett of Winside, Vernon Bassett of Newman Grove, Byron of Omaha and Edward Tierney of Hallam; and three brothers and three sisters.
