Burial will be at New Harmony Baptist Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Bass is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Lucille Patton Bass and grandson, Joshua Guthrie. He is survived by his sons, Mark Bass, Russell Eugene Bass Jr., Blake Bass, daughter, Ann Phillips, brother, Rayburn Bass, sisters, Joyce Denard, Renie Ramsey, 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
