Floy Ann Bass
Floy Ann Kinney Bass, age 86 of Birmingham Alabama, passed away Monday, June 17th 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine E. Kinney; and father Claude F. Kinney, sisters Dorsey Kinney and Sara K. Frazier; and her brothers Claude F. Kinney, Jr. and Howard Jackson "Jack" Kinney. She is survived by her son Matthew D. Bass (Lisa); grandsons Jarrod T. Adams and Jacob A. Bass (Miracle); great grandson Cooper A. Bass; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was retired from BellSouth after 36 years and was a member of The Telephone Pioneers, volunteered with the Salvation Army, and was also a member of Chalkville Baptist Church. Services will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at Ridout's Trussville Chapel with visitation beginning at 1 PM and chapel services at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Chalkville Baptist Cemetery (New Prospect Cemetery) on Springville Road. Rev. Bobby Moore will officiate services.
