  Notes	The Virginian-Pilot, Norfolk, Virginia, 16 December 1982 Chester Bass CHESAPEAKE - Chester Bass, 61, of 3040 Parkside Drive died Tuesday in a hospital. He was a native of Princeton, N.C., and was a retired metal lather in building construction. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Bessie Mae Bass; two daughters, Nina V. Estep of Virginia Beach and Adell Bass; two sons, Michael Bass of Portsmouth and Lester Pay Bass of Chesapeake; two stepdaughters, Patricia Ann Fisher of Plant City, Fla., and Joan Carolyn Profitt of Whitsett, N.C.; two stepsons, William Paul Bass of Hampton and Ronald Lee Bass of Newport News; two brothers Lorice Bass of Chesapeake and Willie Bass of Princeton; and 11 grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Jack Sawyer. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, form 7 to 9 p.m. today.
