ELM CITY ? William Earl "Bill" Bass Jr., 55, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Shingleton Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Bass.
He is survived by his father, William Earl "Teenie" Bass Sr.; son, William Randall "Buddy" Bass; sisters, Patricia Farmer and Lorraine Barnett; brother, John Bass; grandsons, Dylan, Spencer and Bryson Bass, all of Elm City; and 10 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m.
