Pretty Wedding
Miss Lillian Gray Blackwell Bride of Mrs. Percy Bruce Bass of Richmond
Christ Episcopal Church was the scene of a pretty wedding at 6 o?clock Wednesday evening when Miss Lillian Gray Blackwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Blackwell, of Rosemont, and Mr. Percy Bruce Bass, of Richmond, was solemnized, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Dr. W.J. Morton, rector of that church.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and she was accompanied to the chancel by her brothers, Mr. Robert Reynolds Blackwell.
The bride was attired in a cark blue traveling gwon with hat to match.
The maid of honor was Miss Lillian Gray Fetter, of Greensboro, N.C>, who wore blue satin with pink hat and carried pink carnations. Mr. Robert Bass, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
Miss Wilna Clendinnin, of Greensboro, N.C., was bridesmaid. She wore pink silk with silver hat trimmed in pink roses. The ushers were Messrs. Fenner Anderson, of Lynchburg, Va., uncle of the bride. Mr. Randolph Morrow, of Baltimore, Md.
Following the wedding the couple left for a southern bridal trip to Richmond, Baltimore, and New York. They will make their home in Jersey City, N.J.
