Bernard Bass

Bernard Bass, 82, of Bladenboro, went home to with be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his residence.
Bernard was born on June 14, 1941, son of the late Brady Bass and Esther Lee Bass. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Bennie Ray Bass.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Bladenboro First Baptist Church, with Pastor Warren Hill and Pastor Charles Hester officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery.
The visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Friday, at the church.
Per the families request, casual dress is desired.
To cherish his loving memory, Bernard leaves behind his wife, Marci Hester Bass of the home; two children, Alana Barnett and fiancé, Jonathon Price of Leland, Ashlin Bernard Bass of Bladenboro; grandchildren, Wyatt Clinton Stanley, Whitley Grace Stanley, both of Leland; sister-in-law, Lorraine Bass of Abbottsburg; three special nieces, Bernetta, Karen, and Marcia.
If desired donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Bladenboro stained glass restoration fund or Lower Capefear Lifecare.
