Ms. Elizabeth Diane McLellan Bass, age 72, of Fairmont, NC passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern Lumberton, NC.
She was born May 29, 1952 in Robeson County to the late Duncan McLellan and the late Virginia Parnell McLellan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Bass; her siblings, Michael and Tim McLellan, and Sandra Suggs.
Ms. Bass is survived by a son, Paul Bass (Hollie) of Lumberton, NC; a daughter, Jenny Bass McGee (Bobby) of Fairmont, NC; a brother, Larry McLellan (Susan) of Big Springs, TX.; a sister, Ann Locklear of Fairmont, NC; the father of her children, Jimmy Bass of Fairmont, NC; ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. A memorial service will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gibson Cancer Center, 1200 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC.
