  Notes	Robesonian, Lumberton, North Carolina, January 15, 1971 Grover Bass FAIRMONT ? Grover Bass, 55, of Fairmont, Route 1, died Tuesday, at Southeastern General Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at Oakdale Baptist Church when the ministers in charge were the Rev. Thomas J. Brown and the Rev. Charles Helms. Interment was made in the Bass family cemetery. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Ila Bass, other survivors are three step ? daughters; Mrs. Inez Ivey and Mrs. Dora Bell Arnette of Fairmont and Mrs. Nora Lee Jordan of Shannon; one step-son, Roger Lewis Ivey of Fairmont; five sisters, Mrs. Vivian Arnette, Mrs. Carl Rowell and Mrs. Rembert Strickland, all of Fairmont and Mrs. Roy Cook of Alexandria, Va. and Mrs. Leslie Byrd of Hampton, Vas.; three brothers, Wilmer Bass and Homer Bass, both of Fairmont and Frank Bass of Wilmington; 16 grandchlidren and 6 great-grandchildren.
