Carol Williamson Bass
Portsmouth-Carol Williamson Bass, 73, passed peacefully and went to be with her heavenly Father, Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 19 2022. She was the daughter of the late Julian and Margaret Williamson. She was also predeceased by a brother, Junior Williamson and sister, Phyllis Allen.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jesse Vernie Bass ll, son, Jesse Vernie Bass lll and wife Cristal, sister Janice Turner and numerous nieces and nephews. Last but certainly not least, her constant companion Maggie.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM on Wednesday evening at the Sturtevant Funeral Home Portsmouth Blvd Chapel.
