Margurite L. Bass
Margurite L. Bass, 99, Chanute, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.
She was born Aug. 1, 1908, in Olivet to William and Mary L. Crawley Fisher.
She married Jessie L. Bass on April 12, 1934. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne G. Bass, Emporia, and Heraldo Leo Bass, Gas City; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stillborn infant, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Church of God in Chanute under the direction of Charter Funerals, Emporia. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Chanute.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the church.

Margaret L. Bass, 99, Chanute, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at the Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute.
She was born Aug. 1, 1908, in Olivet to William and Mary L. Crawley Fisher.
She married Jesse Leo Bass on April 12, 1934, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death in 1974.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Haroldo Bass, Gas City, and Wayne Gomez Bass, Emporia; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a stillborn child; three sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel in Chanute. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
