James Billy Bass
James Billy Bass, 69, passed away, Saturday, Dec. 22, 20207. He was born Nov. 6, 1938 in Wilson County. He was the son of the late, Ephriam and Irene Sullivan Bass. James retired from Superlock and served in the U.S. Army. he leaves to cherich his memory, his wife, Mary Radford Bass, one son, Daniel Bass, one daughter, Denise Bass, two step-sons, David Wayne Bryant and Charles Ray Bryant, one step-daughter, Marie Young; two sisters, Dale Joyner and Dorothy Driver, one brother, Dick Bass, niece, Tammy Lamm, a very special friends, Pastor Vernon Potter. Pastor Potter has been with Billy since October 2004 until the very end and also there when he needed him. Special friends Chris and Paula Reges; two very special pets, Kelly-P-Poo and Buddy. Visitation was held Sunday night at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held today at 1p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home, with the Pastor Vernon Potter officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
