Edward Oliver Bass
Erwin -- Edward Oliver Bass, 80, of 804 Warren Road, died Tuesday in Good Hope Hospital in Erwin. Mr. Bass was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Erwin Memorial Park by the Reverend Jerome Pope. Mr. Bass is survived by two daughters, Donna B. Hartley of the home and JoAnne B. Greenstreet of Baltimore; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home in Dunn.
