Ms. Nancy Lucille Bass Baker Parker.
Nancy Lucille Bass Baker Parker, 79, of Tampa, Florida was given her heavenly wings on March 24, 2024, after a brief illness and an extended battle with memory disorder. She was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School in Elizabethtown, NC. She was a graduate of the University of South Florida. She completed 22 years with the Hillsborough County Water Department as a Budget Analyst. Known for many years as "the butterfly lady" of Seminole Heights, she was an avid lover of nature, flowers and all things "butterfly". She was a member of Seminole Heights Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arey and Kathleen Bass of Hallsboro, NC; and her brothers, James, Buddy, Johnny and Tim, all in NC. She leaves behind one daughter, Lynn (Chris); granddaughter, Kayla; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no local services as she will be returned to NC to be interred with her family. The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her name with the hope to someday stop the disease that stole her life.
