Being of sound mind and memory blessed be God. ____ this being the 3rd day of February in the year of our Lord (one tho)usand Eight hundred and Seventy Four - make and publish this my last Will and testament ___ manner following to wit.
Item 1st I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Bass one hundred and forty acres of land where I now live the home place forever.
Item 2 I give and bequeath unto my son Aron Bass one tract of land including two tracts adjoining known as the Morace tract and J.T. Bass tract containing two hundred and eight__ 1/4 acres of land forever.
Item 3 I give and bequeath unto my son Edwin Bass one tract of land where he now lives containing one hundred and seventy four acres of land forever.
Item 4 I give and bequeath unto Gilbert Bass and Mary Ann Bass and Betsy Lucrecy Bass the son and daughters of my son John Bass ten dollars each.
Item 5 I give and bequeath unto Martha Ann Johnson one bed and furniture and one cow
