Henry Watson Hall
Dr. Henry Watson "Jack" Hall Jr., 69, died Wednesday, July 30, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Hall was born in Williamson County, the son of the late Henry Watson Hall, Sr. and Margaret Thomason Hall, and made his home in Franklin.
He was a veterinarian, and longtime board member and general manager of the Harpeth, Burwood and Thompsons Station Utility District. Dr. Hall was the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association Practitioner of the Year in 1983, served on the Franklin Board of Mayor and Alderman, was a former member of the Franklin Noon Rotary Club, former member of the Williamson County Hospital Board and the Williamson County Board of Health. He was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist church.
Survivors include wife, Lois Bass Hall of Franklin; son, John Michael Hall of Franklin; daughter, Susie Hall Pratt and husband, Kenneth, of Franklin; sister, Mrs. Anne Lunn of Nashville; grandchildren, Ashley and Taylor Huff and Gavin Pratt.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Jim Taylor and Rev. Tom Herring officiating. Burial will follow in Leipers Fork Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Glenn Rogers, Colbey Reagan, Nathan Bass, Charles Arnold, Phillip Bass, Dr. Don Lunn, Rodney Lunn and Joey Hatch. Honorary pallbearers will be John Albright, Dr. Jeff Bethurum, Bill Cherry, Dr. John Flexnor, Paul Lankford, Dr. Joel Lee, Wallace Lee, Albert Menefee, Leonard McKeand, Dan Parson, Jim Robinson, Brent Sanders, Charlie Sawyer, HB & TS board and employees, Cecil Branstetter, Tom Puckett, Don Scholes and Dotsons Coffee Group.
