Nannie Pearl Chism
Nannie Pearl Chism, 86, of Brandenburg, died Tuesday, May 7, at Medco Center, Brandenburg.
Born December 8, 1898 in Breckinridge County, she was the daughter of Sidney Hayden Bassett and Laura Belle Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Willett Chism, and two sons, Sidney and Marvin Dale Chism.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Emmett (Dorothy) Wardrip of Brandenburg, Mrs. Pauline Pawlawski of Brandenburg and Mrs. Alfred (Wanda) Bennett of Valley Station; two sons, James Chism of Pleasure Ridge Park and Russell Chism of Upton; 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 9, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home, with Dr. Billy Marcum officiating. Interment was in Raymond Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Jenkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Steve Wardrip, Leslie Chism, Terry Bennett, Brad Chism, Mickey Chism and Dennis Wardrip.
