Beatrice Wassmer Bassett, 72, of Overbrook Rd., North Haven, died Friday (May 12, 2000) at St. Raphael's Hospital. Wife of Milton M. Bassett; mother of Bruce W. Bassett and his wife Cindy of Bristol; sister of George M. Wassmer of Wallingford, Harold E. Wassmer of Branford, Paul A. Wassmer of Killingworth, and Shirley Melchi of Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted in the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave., North Haven, Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Montowese Cemetery, North Haven.
