Ellis E. Bass
ROCK FALLS ? Ellis E. Bass, 61, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Rock Falls Rehabilitation Center. He worked at Self Help Enterprises.
Ellis was born July 27, 1950, in Sterling, the son of Joseph Dean and Dorothy Catherine (Sands) Bass. He served in the Navy. He married Nancy in 1975.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Turner of Sterling; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents; and a brother, Roger D. Bass.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., followed the funeral at 11 a.m., Friday at Friendship Temple of Jesus Christ Church in Sterling, with Lonnie Chattic and Catherine Gibson, pastors, co-officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Arrangements were completed McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
