Emilia J. Bassett Fracasso, 85, formerly of Sheffield
The family of Emilia Bassett Fracasso will receive friends on Monday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a service at noon conducted by Rev. Robert Miskell, pastor of Our Lady of the Valley Church, at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington.
Emilia J. Bassett Fracasso, 85, formerly of Sheffield, died on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Born in Adams, on April 11, 1938, she was the daughter of Robert Kleiner and Mary Bloniarz Kleiner. Emilia obtained her GED and worked in manufacturing for Bicron Electronics.
Emilia and her husband Richard Bassett shared 42 years of marriage and raised their four children together before he passed away on October 24, 1997.

Emilia loved her family, and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Emilia is survived by her children, Catherine Joy (Kenneth), Albert Bassett (Sheila), Dickie Bassett (Betsy), and Andrew Bassett; her 13 grandchildren; and her 23 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Maria Colli. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Bassett, her brother Stanley Kleiner, and her daughter Mary Bassett.

Burial will follow at Sheffield Center Cemetery with a reception at the Sheffield American Legion.
