Darlene Bass Johnson
November 18, 1948 ? February 22, 2019
Even though the past few years were difficult, due to health issues, Darlene was a trooper. She fought and stayed positive; however, she was called home to be with her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February 22, 2019.
All who knew her, knew of her generosity, as she had a difficult time saying no to those in need. From charitable organizations like St. Jude or Wounded Warriors to family members, she looked for the best in others. Her only down side was her ability to argue for what she believed in and boy were those conversations feisty. She leaves a void in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by husband, Edward Earl Dail; son, John E. Johnson II and parents, Lucille & Joseph Bass. Those left to rejoice in her life are grandson, John (Jae) E. Johnson III (Angeleah); siblings Danae Bass, Robert (Bobby) Bass (Julie), Laurie Burroughs (Rob), Lanelle Schmidt (Michael); great granddaughters Eris & Katie Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews.
