  Notes	Christian County Missouri Obituaries Nancy Elizabeth (Simmons) Bass 28 Jul 1877 ? 16 Feb 1960 Funeral services for Nancy Elizabeth Bass, 82, who died Tuesday, Feb. 16, were held Saturday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. with burial in the Ponce de Leon Cemetery under the direction of Chaffin Funeral Home. On January 20, 1895, she was united in marriage to William C. Bass, who preceded her in death on February 18, 1945. To this union were born 9 children, of whom four preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Roy Stewart and Mrs. Nannie Hilton, both of Spokane, Mrs. Mildred Bessette , Hillsdale, Mich. and Mrs. Fannie Weston, New Boston, Mich.; one son, James S. Bass of Garber; one sister, Mrs. Amy McDonald, of California; 18 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. A great, great grandchild passed away the same day as Mrs. Bass.
