Rhodes, died Thursday at her residence. Funeral services were held today at Kistler Funeral Home. Burial was n New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Rhodes was born in Darlington County, a daughter of John Henry Bass and Mrs. Vicey Beasley Bass. She was a member of High Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Baxter E. Rhodes Sr. of Darlington; two daughters, mrs. B.. Simms of Charleston and Mrs. Leon Lewis of Darlington; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
