Member of Caradog’s Choir Dead
Members of Caradog’s renowned Welsh choir are dropping gradually out of existence. The last of the famous combination to “cross the border” is William Bassett, builder and contractor, who passed away in his sixty-eighth year at his residence in Union Terrace, Llanelly. He was for many years organist and choir master at the Llannely Parish Church, and was in great demand as a musical conductor and adjudicator.
