  Notes	El Dorado News-Times, Arkansas, Saturday, 17 August 1974 Wiley Mack Bass Sr. Mr. Wiley Mack Bass Sr., 69, of 502 Poplar St., Smackover, died Thursday morning in a Camden hospital. Funeral services will he held at 10 a.m. today at Young?s Chapel with the Rev. John Burton officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ray Wells. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery near Smackover under the direction of Young?s. Mr. Bass was born Dec. 8, 1904, in Columbia, Miss., and was the son of Bill and Letha Isles Bass. He was a retired oil field worker and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include there sons, Wiley Mack Bass Jr., of Smackover, James C. Bass and Walter E. Bass, both of El Dorado; two brothers, W.R. ?Bill? Bass of Shelbyville, Tex. and Cassey bass of Columbia; four sisters, Mrs. Lee B. Cates of El Dorado, Mrs. Letha Cameron of Homer, La., Mrs. Edna Galtin of Alexandira, La., and Mrs. J. A. Wells of Columbia; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
