Ruth Aileen McKinney Bass
August 13, 1921 ? December 2, 2014
A sweet and caring person much loved by family and friends passed away on December 2, 2014. Ruth Aileen McKinney Bass was born on August 13, 1921 in Rose Hill, Iowa to Mabel McCord and A. Ray McKinney. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School (Iowa) where she met James E. Bass whom she married on April 26, 1942. Surviving are her two children, James R. (Mary) Bass in Kearns, and Janet B. Bass in Brigham City; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and sisters, Jean Wyland and Grace Lester. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Kathryn and brother John (killed in action Leyte Island, Philippines). The family would like to thank the staff at Brigham City Community Hospital, Integrity Hospice and Ali's Angels for their kind and compassionate care of Mom. Funeral services will be December 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at Community Presbyterian Church, 311 S. 100 E. Interment at Brigham City Cemetery. Send condolences to: www.gilliesfuneral chapel.com.
