Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fellowship Baptist Church in Ripley, where he was a member, with burial in Jacobs Chapel Cemetery. McBride Funeral Home has charge. Bass, the husband of Lavon Windham Bass, also leaves eight sons, Wayne Bass, Barry Bass, Ray Bass, Ronnie Bass, Steve Bass, Timmy Bass and Wesley Bass, all of Ripley, and Rodney Bass of Walnut; his mother, Mrs. Jessie Proctor Bass, and three brothers, Gerald Bass, Clayton Bass and Gene Bass, all of Ripley, and six grandchildren.
