Mack Bass
Funeral service for Mack Bass, 87, of Wisner, LA, will be held, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 2PM in the chapel of Dennard First National Funeral Home with Randy Satterfield and Phillip Farris Officiating. Interment will follow in South Central Cemetery. Visitation will be held at12PM at the funeral home until the time of service, all under the direction of Dennard First National, Winnsboro, LA.
Mack was born December 9,1938 in Wisner, LA, to the union of the late Travis Bass and the late Marcell Brown Bass, and passed away peacefully April 11,2026, after a brief illness.
Mack was a very humble and kind man. He will be deeply missed and always remembered for his integrity, his Love for God, his love for preserving the land, and working tirelessly for his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his ex-wife and loving friend, Mary Bass, two sons, Arvell Bass and wife Karry, and Billy Bass, one daughter, Mailyn Carlin and husband BJ, one brother, Ralph Bass, one sister Elaine Hoover and husband Victor, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, as well as a host of other family and friends.
