BASS, Betty Lou, a resident of Verbena, Alabama, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the age of 87.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with her son Thomas Bass and Rev. Heath Reese officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing.
Mrs. Bass is preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. Bass, Sr.; brothers John Thomas Price, Fred Price, and Philip Price. She is survived by her children Sheryl (Freddie) Strength, Sheila Blankenship, Thomas W. (Cindy) Bass, Jr., Jonnie Faye (Mike) Blankenship; brother Richard (Belinda) Price; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
