Alice Marie Bass
Alice Marie Bass, 81, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on January 21, 2021. Alice was born April 17, 1939 in Russellville, Arkansas, to the late Lorine (Coffman) and James Edward Rogers. They moved to Andrews, Texas in her childhood. There she met and married Claude Bass in 1956. Alice and Claude and their three daughters moved to Midland in 1964 and continued to live there the next 53 years. They celebrated 61 years of marriage. Alice and Claude loved to spend time at the lake fishing. For several years they were members of the High Sky Bass Club. They loved having family and friends over for fish fries. Alice loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards (especially Skipbo), and watching the Dallas Cowboys play. Alice is survived by her three daughters, Karen Clark, Lisa Hagelstein and husband Richard, and Angela Taylor and husband David. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Cardenas and husband Miguel, Brad Clark, Brian Clark, Kristy Taylor, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Alice is preceded in death by her husband Claude Bass, son-in-law Michael Clark, parents Lorine and James Rogers, sisters Frances Perkins, Reba Jamison, June Rogers and Nora Rogers. Currently there are no services planned.
