Robert Carder officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Garden in Bedford. Mrs. Bass died Monday, July 31, 1995, at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 1, 1907, in Lawrence County, the daughter of William and Mary Maddox Sipes. She worked for Indiana Limestone Co. in Bedford and Roberts Brass Co. in Mitchell. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bedford. She married Frank Bass on June 27, 1928, in Bedford. He died in December 1992. Survivors include a son, Bill Bass, Los Angeles; a daughter, Sue Freeze, Lawrence, Kan.; a brother, Kenneth Sipes, Milwaukee; a sister, Mary Pace, Bedford; and a grandson. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Bedford.
