In Memory of Robert L. Bass
1926 - 2013
Graveside services for Robert ?Bob? L. Bass age 86 of Enid will be 10 am Friday at the Garden Chapel in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bob was born August 22, 1926 in Enid to Wiley and Marie Meyers Bass and passed away on February 17, 2013 in the Greenbrier Nursing Home. He was raised in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1944. On July 21, 1944 he joined United States Navy and was honorable discharged on July 2, 1946. In 1957, he graduated from Phillips University with a BA in Education. Bob worked at the Enid State School and retired in 1988. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his close friends Lynn, Allison, Connor and Emily Angleton of Enid, a son Dr. Terry Bass of Oklahoma City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wiley, Jr, sister-n-law Evelyn Bass.
Memorial contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or St. Jude?s Children?s Hospital with the funeral home serving custodian of the funds. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ladusauevans.com.
