Bessette of 118 Hudson River Rd., Waterford, was held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Frank P. McDonald and Son Funeral Home, 870 2nd Ave., and at 9 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church, Waterfored, where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial was celebrated by Rev. Richard Foley, O.S.A. Bearers were Raymond and Harold Hayes, Leo and Labert Bessette, Gilfert Grious, and Robert Chartrand. Interment was in Brookside Cemetery, Poestenkill, with Father Foley officiating.
