He was a deacon and trustee of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Goode Bass; two sons, H. Aubrey Jr. and D. Binford Bass, both of Moseley; three daughters, Mrs. James T. Folwer of Petersburg, Mrs. Thelma B. Widman of Miamia and Mrs. Raymond W. Davis of Colonial Heights; two brothers, Irvin M. and R. Bertelle, both of Moseley, and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie B. Phaup of Richmond and Mrs. Arthur W. Horner of Moseley. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, with burial there.
