  Notes	The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, Saturday, 2 September 1950 Helen Bass Burlington. ? Helen Oldham Bass, one-year-old daughter of John D. and Minnie M. Oldham Bass, died at her home at 114 Guthrie Street at 5 o?clock Thursday afternoon following two weeks of critical illness. Survivors, other than her parents, include one sister, Sarah Lee Bass of Burlington, and her grand-parents, Mrs. J.O. Bass of Spring Hope, and Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Oldham of Burlington. Final rites will be held at Hocutt Memorial Baptist Church Saturday afternoon at 3 o?clock. The Rev. Tom F. Freeman, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
