  Notes	The News Reporter, Whiteville, North Carolina, Wednesday, December 25, 2013 Frautman Earl Bass FAYETTEVILLE -- Frautman Earl Bass, 96, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a WWII veteran. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26 at Reeves Funeral Home. Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Howard and Larry Bass; one daughter, Angela Bass Potts; one brother, Jack Bass; two sisters, Margaret Cooper Davis and Eugenia Pearl Hayes; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund, 3184 County Line Road, Fayetteville, N.C. 28306.
