Anna L. "Peggy" Dosa
Anna L. "Peggy" Dosa, age 86, of Sebring, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Crandall Medical Center. She was born December 27, 1921, in Coshocton, Ohio, to Sherman and Ida Mae (Cutshaw) Bassett and lived in the Alliance area since 1946.
Peggy enjoyed painting ceramics, beading and baking. She was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by her daughter Trevenna "Susie" McDaniel of Alliance; grandsons, Walter L. (Kim) Davis Jr. of Louisville and Christopher L. McDaniel of Alliance; and great-grandsons, William and Danny Davis of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Dosa, whom she married in 1946 and who died in 1983; brothers, Ernest, Arthur and Harry; sisters, Kathryn, Fern, Marvel, Fairy and Ruby and an infant sister.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with David Perry, chaplain at Copeland Oaks Crandall Medical Center, officiating. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Alliance City Cemetery.
