Robin Lynn Bass Anderson
Robin Lynn Anderson, 51, of 242 N. Oak Street, Statesville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at her residence.
She was born October 8, 1959, in Iredell County and was the daughter Betty Malcolm Bass and the late Charles Edward Bass. She was a devoted homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother, and a member of Crestview Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Bass.
Robin is survived by her husband, Daryl L. Anderson, whom she married on October 4, 1986; two sons, Rhyne Anderson (Amy) and Matthew "Matt" Anderson (Coretta) both of Statesville; a step-daughter, Diana Starr Morton (Tim) of Norwood; three grandchildren, Ty Anderson, Jayden "Skye" Anderson, and Harmony Anderson, all of Statesville; her mother, Betty M. Bass of Statesville; and a brother, Randy Bass (Barbara) of Statesville. She is also survived by her special best friend, Jeanie Threatte of Statesville as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services celebrating Robin's life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 PM Friday at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home and at other times will be at the residence.
