Oscar Wilson Bass Jr., 75, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 1, 1945 in Charlotte, NC, a son of the late Oscar W. Bass Sr. and Oscelene Dabbs Bass.
Oscar was passionate about racing, if it had a motor he was ready to race, especially drag and go kart racing. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, he enjoyed spending quality time with family and camping.
Mr. Bass is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Linda Kimbrell Bass; children, Chris W. Bass (Anne) of Winnsboro, SC and Jodi L. Bass-Greene (Mark); one grandchild, Ada K. Bass and many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Graveside Service will be held 3pm Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Juniper Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after the service.
