Milton Clyde Bass, 61, of Momeyer community, father of Vessie Dail Bass of Greensboro, died Monday in Nash General Hospital. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Nashville. Burial will be in Bass family cemetery. Bass was co-owner of Bass Oil Co. and an Army Veteran of World War II. Also surviving are wife, Mrs. Annhie Dickinson Bass; son, Dicky D. Bass of Nashville; daughters, Mrs. Diane Bass Grider of Nashville, Mrs. Donna Bass Moss of Momeyer community; brothers ,Dan Bass and Bobby Lee Bass of Momeyer, Neil Bass of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren.
