A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fairmont Cemetery by the Rev. Tony Stephens. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Fallie C. Bass of the home; two daughters, Linda Britt of Lumberton and Betty Bass of Liberty, S.C.; a brother, Hal Bass of Florida; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Floyd Mortuary.
