Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Summersett Funreal Home Chapel, with the Rev. William C. Currie officiating. Interment will be in Rowan Memorial Park. He was employed by the Environmental Protection Agency and was a member of St. John?s Lutheran Church. Surviving are brother, Ralph F. Bass of Torrance, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Hilda Palmer Jr. of Spencer, Mrs. Mona Shaw of Salisbury, Mrs. Catherine Foxworth of Arlington, Va.
