  Notes	Find-a-Grave obituary Wilbert L. Bass Wilbert Lee Bass, 73, of Route 2, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994 at his home following an extended illness. He was born January 7, 1921 in Robeson County and was the son of the late Lee Ellis and Retha Meares Bass. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Howell officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Faith cemetery. Mr. Bass is survived by his wife, Sarah H. Bass of the home; two sons, Martin L. Bass and Douglas W. Bass, both of Lumberton; one daughter, Brenda B. Hill of Lumberton; one brother, Lloyd Earl Bass of Lumberton; one sister, Elsie B. Covington of Lumberton; and three grandchildren.
