Brenda Caudill
LIMA ? Brenda S. Caudill, age 68, passed away January 7, 2016 at 6:15 am surrounded by her family at her daughter's residence.
Brenda was born September 15, 1947 in Urbana, OH. Brenda had worked in sales with the Northland Family Dollar and worked there for 5 years until she retired in 2011. After retiring she took a position with the Allen County Sheriff's Office and their Citizens Outreach Program. Brenda had been attending the Ark of the Covenant Baptist Church and also the Secret Sister Society through the church. Brenda loved to go fishing with her daughter and sidekick Laura.
Brenda is survived 2 daughters; Laura (Brian) Hoff of Lima, OH and Lisa Gossman of Lima, OH and a son, Chad (Carla) Caudill of Kenton, OH, 7 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers; Elzie (Janet) Docter Jr. of Beverly Hills, FL, Louis (Chris) Docter of Campbergy, AZ and Steve Docter of Greendale, IN, 2 sisters; Peggy (Russell) Wilson of Wilmington, OH and Jean (Dorsey) Wilson of Hillsboro, OH, and her significant other, Pablo Pinkerton of Lima, OH and her dog, Archie.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; Elzie and Dorothy (Bassett) Docter, and her biological mother; Hazel Kuhns.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Pastor Arnold Wright. Burial will be in Lafayette following the service. A luncheon will immediately follow services at the Ark of the Covenant Baptist Church, 2106 Reese Ave., Lima.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4-6 pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
